What's new on testingapis.com

Each release, newest first: what changed and where to try it. The current version is v2.0.

  1. v2.0Current

See your APIs as a map

The API Map and Contract Graph are now part of testingapis.com, in your dashboard and free with an account. Drop in a spec and read it as a map, or put many services on one graph.

    • API Map

Import an OpenAPI 2.0 to 3.1, Swagger, Postman, cURL, HAR or WSDL file, or plain JSON and YAML, and get a map of every endpoint. Inspect an endpoint, send it with Try Request, switch to a table, the raw spec, an audit or coverage, and export or share the map.

      Open the API Map
    • Contract Graph

Put several services on one graph and see the entities they share, endpoints that duplicate each other, concepts with more than one name, and who depends on whom. Try it on the sample estate.

      Open Contract Graph
    • Parsed in your browser

Specs are read on your device and never uploaded. Only a request you send from the map leaves your browser. Contract Graph workspaces are saved in this browser, not in your account; download a workspace file to move one.

    • A tidier dashboard

API Map and Contract Graph sit under API visualization in the sidebar, which now folds down to its icons. The choice is remembered in your browser.

    • A live preview on the home page

The home page draws sample specs as a mind map, and a sample estate on Contract Graph, before you sign in. The API Map's tool page moved to /tools/api-map.
